DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING
Civil Engineering department has been the integral part of the institute since its inception in 1963. The motto of the department is to impart best engineering acumen to the students in the field of Civil Engineering. The department is having a team of well dedicated and hardworking faculty members. Laboratories of the department are well equipped with state-of-the-art equipments and software. Besides classroom teaching, the students are also exposed to real world of work by engaging them in miscellaneous institute works related to Civil Engineering. Passed out students of the Civil Engineering department of this institute are in great demand and they have created a niche for themselves by clinching placements in highly reputed government and private sector organizations. The department also conducts continuing education training programmes for other government departments (e.g. HPPWD and IPH) and takes care of institute Civil works.
